Welcome, friends and visitors!
New SVDP Altar Servers Guild
On Sunday, March 12, 2023, sixteen altar servers were installed into the new Saint Vincent de Paul Altar Servers Guild by Fr. Mikee, accompanied by Patrick McBee, Altar Server Coordinator.
Each altar server received a certificate and pin in recognition of their willingness to serve Our Lord at His holy altar. On a date still to be determined, our newest servers will be vested by their parents or grandparents at Mass once our new surplices and cassocks arrive. Please pray they arrive soon! |
Please pray for our altar servers, through the intercession of St. John Berchmans, patron of altar servers:

Our Lady of Fatima
is Now More Secure St. Vincent de Paul parishioners who take
the statue of Our Lady of Fatima into their homes can feel more confident when transporting it from the church thanks to the generosity of Frances Anderson. Francis made the quilt pictured to wrap the statue donated by Peg Perry and her son, Curtis, in order to preserve the beauty of and reverence for the statue while it travels between parish families who host it in their homes for prayer and petitioning. If your household would like to host the Our Lady of Fatima statue for a two-week period, please call Mary Elko at 703.405.1245. |

Please consider volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church
There are so many ways in which you can help our parish. Are you called to become a lector, an altar server, an usher, or an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion? Or, would you like to join the choir, join the volunteer group that cleans the church, or help cut the grass or beautify our church surroundings? How about assisting at the local nursing home every Wednesday when the Holy Eucharist is celebrated for its residents? Our parish offers various ministries for men and women where each one can contribute in building the kingdom of God within our midst. If you feel you have a calling to any of our ministries, please call the office and be counted.
Below are three ministries most in need of volunteers at this time:
