On the Wednesday of Holy Week, April 5, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the parish hall, Father Mikee invites all parishioners to make an effort to attend the presentation on the "Shroud of Turin" given to us by Mr. Jim Naulty, a parishioner of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Silver Spring, MD.
This is a rare gift to our parish and unique opportunity to listen to a man who has studied the Shroud of Turin for almost 30 years. Mr. Naulty studied under Bro. Joseph Pounds from the Franciscan Monastery in Washington, DC., who studied the Shroud at the Vatican in 1978 with the Shroud of Turin Research Project (STURP). Brother Pounds also studied under the Shroud historian, Msgr. Gulio Ricci, at the Vatican where he studied the same since the 1930s. Consider making this presentation as part of your Lenten observance, reflection, and spiritual revival. Light refreshments will be available, or you may bring some food to share.
